Powersmart’s solar module mounting system has been designed to specifically meet the environmental and code requirements in Australia and New Zealand. The assembly is a “top-down” design so the modules are easily installed / removed individually. They can be fitted to almost any type of roof and frame material and are easily tilted to maximise energy production and/or aesthetic appearance.
We have worked closely with Metal Roofing Manufacturers to ensure that the installation of our system follows their Code of Practice. By doing so, Powersmart mounting frames will not void new or existing roof warranties.
Powersmart mounting frames are constructed of anodised aluminium and stainless steel hardware for a long corrosion free life. The frame will endure wind loading in excess of 50m/s, classified as a very high wind zone in both New Zealand and Australia. Powersmart’s mounting design also provides a structural connection point with the building framing rather than the roofing material. This provides installers of our mounting systems the ability to fit perfectly flush and symmetrical arrays even when the roofing framing and material may vary slightly.
Powersmart’s mounting frames are an engineered solar mounting solution suitable for a wide variety of applications and environments. They are tiltable, and installable on virtually any common type of roofing material and structure. Their adaptability in layout and the quality materials make them particularly applicable where aesthetics or heritage values need to be considered.
