Residential Grid Connect
Powersmart Solar specializes in quality residential grid connect systems for new and existing homes. We have installations throughout NZ and Australia, many on high end homes and in coastal marine conditions. Our proprietary mounting system integrates with the building framing and is engineered for the harshest wind zones in NZ and Australia. Our residential solar business also handles lines company consents, council consents, meter/retailer changes, and installation management for our clients. We consistently receive excellent feedback for our customer service and product quality.
Commercial Grid Connect
Powersmart Solar is highly experienced at relatively larger (>10 kW) commercial grid connect installations, including systems installed on new buildings during construction. Our engineers design systems specifically for the building and location and have many products at their disposal for complicated or unconventional mounting.
Commercial Grid Connect – Schools
Powersmart Solar's Engineers have participated in solar programs for schools in the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. This extensive experience with a wide variety of building structures and with varying legislative frameworks has enabled us to develop the skills in designing, installing, and commissioning solar power systems for all and any schools. Our engineers are highly experienced at considering how solar will be used for school projects, subcontractor management and dealing with the unique challenges/opportunities that installing on schools provides.
Residential Off-Grid
Powersmart Solar is highly experienced in complex off grid system design and installation including hybrid solar/wind/diesel systems. Commercial Off-Grid
Powersmart Solar has a wide range of commercial off grid experience from all over the world. We have significant experience designing and installing solar power systems for communications infrastructure, remote bases, government monitoring sites, and more.
Building Integrated PV (BIPV)
Powersmart Solar has provided customers with custom BIPV solutions, handling custom module design, mounting design, system design, and installation. Mounting Products and Design Support Powersmart engineers and manufactures a wide range of roof mounting systems for PV modules, SWH systems, and custom designs for air ventilation systems. Our systems are flexible and able to be installed on almost any roof type in almost any environment. We also have a range of engineered ground mount solutions as well as pole mounts.
Wholesale Products and Design Support
Powersmart Solar currently runs a significant wholesale product and product support business in Australia and New Zealand. Our customers vary from local accredited electricians to full service solar PV sales and installation companies. We sell and provide technical support for solar modules, inverters, roof and ground mounting systems, balance of system kits, commercial finance, and installation/commissioning/project management services.
